The DreamStation CPAP Machine Review
Hey guys, John here at Affinity HM, and I'm here to tell you about the DreamStation CPAP machine. This CPAP machine is a great option for those who are looking for a machine that is easy to maintain and take on the go, while also being simple to use. So first, let's talk about the design.
DreamStation is connected as two pieces; one piece being the actual CPAP machine with the interface layout and the other piece is the water chamber. With both pieces connected, it does have a slightly longer profile than other CPAP machines, specifically the AirSense S10; however, if you do not find the water chamber necessary for your therapy, you can easily disconnect it for lighter travel that will take up less space. The DreamStation also comes with a carrying case that will keep each of the components of the CPAP easily organized. Using the DreamStation is simple, allow me to explain.
Navigating the interface of the DreamStation through the use of the dial allows the patient to easily check their settings and compliance. Certain settings can be changed in order to make the CPAP therapy easier to use for new patients. DreamStation has built in bluetooth compatibility and cell tower access to download compliance reports and ensure that the therapy is working effectively. No SD cards are needed. The filters on the DreamStation are also very user friendly when swapping out. That last feature i would like to touch on, is the remote troubleshooting. If any problems were to arise, they can easily be fixed via the troubleshooting system. DreamStation does a great job of making sure this machine is seamless to use.
This concludes my review on the DreamStation CPAP! I hope this helped answer any questions. For a more in depth review on setting up the machine for initial use, check out Chris' video on youtube. I'll leave a link below. Thank you for reading and have an excellent day!
